Hispania Dos

Duration:60 Hours

 

The Intermediate Level Certificate course is a 60 hour course that you can complete in a duration of 5 weeks (Weekday courses) or 10 weeks (Weekend Courses). 

This course is a continuation and expansion of the first level and introduces new structures and vocabulary. All the acquired skills in the previous level will be practiced through oral interactions among classmates. 

Through the use of multimedia and class activities in pairs and groups, it is an essential part of the learning process for students to be proactive in order to learn while having fun.  

 

Course Features

You will be equipped to use the present continuous tense in which you will be able to describe your actions in the present, express your likes and dislikes, as well as make comparisons. The future tense is also introduced in this level and you will be able to talk about your plans, dreams, hopes and aspirations in the immediate future.

  • Present Continuous Tense, Comparatives, Superlatives

  • Verb GUSTAR (‘to like’), Pronominal verbs, Expressing Opinions

  • Verbal periphrases, Direct and Indirect object, Possessive pronouns

  • Pronouns with prepositions, Ordinal numbers, Expressing obligation

  • Indefinite adjectives and pronouns, Giving advice, Speaking about plans

  • Gradation of adjectives, Introducing Superlative ending in -ISIMO

  • Adverbs in Comparative and Superlative form, Interrogative Pronouns

  • Verb + Indefinite, Collective nouns,

  • Imperfect future of indicative, Irregular noun constructions

  • Imperative verb

On completion of the Intermediate Certificate Course (Level A1), you will obtain the Hispania Certificate corresponding to your achievement of level A1. The minimum percentage to obtain the certification is 50%  and is essential in order to continue to the next level course. However, it is advisable to achieve a minimum of 60-65% to attain a good proficiency and a sound understanding of this level.

 

All trainers for this course are certified instructors who undergo rigorous internal training under our Teachers Training Programme. The trainers are well versed with the course content and also include a cultural focus during the course to give you an accurate representation of the Spanish speaking world.

 

The course is intended for students who have cleared the previous level with a minimum of 50% although it is recommended to obtain 65% or more.

For participants who have prior knowledge of Spanish and wish to join this level directly, they must undertake a level-test in order for us to determine if their proficiency is appropriate for this level. Our instructors are facilitators for participants to learn new vocabulary and grammar structures and active participation coupled with a proactive attitude is very important at this level.
