This course marks the beginning of the Advanced Module.

This is a 60 hour Advanced Diploma course (C1.1) which can be completed in a span of 4 weeks (Weekdays) or 8 weeks (Weekends).

On successful completion of this level, you are able to speak and handle any situation or presentation, formal or informal.

 

Course Features

On successful completion of this level (C1), you will be able to speak and handle any situation or presentation, formal or informal.

You will also understand detailed information when the speech is clear at real speed about many topics that take place on the working place, in the school, at home or at leisure time.

The course contents include advanced grammatical structures, oral discussions and debates as well as real speed audio and multimedia clips to get proficient with the natural speech and discourse.

The course also contains text analysis and focuses on complex written skills.

  • Review of indicative and subjunctive modes, advanced expressions,

  • Verbs ‘costar’, ‘tardar’, ‘llevar’, E-commerce

  • Differences of ‘por’ and ‘para’ and uses in advance speech,

  • Verbs with preposition and passive voice, Information technology in daily lives

  • Connectors in final and temporal sentences

  • Consumerism and shopping, Debates and law

  • Uses of concessive  sentences, Direct and Indirect style of speech

  • Verbs expressing a starting action, Verb ‘ponerse’, ‘hecharse’ with infinitive

  • Sentences with impersonal ‘Se’

  • Periphrases and verbs followed by gerund, Advanced constructions using ‘ya’, ‘mira’, ‘no sabes’, ‘no te imaginas’

On completion of the Diploma Pre-Superior course (Level C1.1), you will obtain the Hispania Diploma corresponding to your achievement of level C1.1.

The minimum percentage to obtain the certification is 50%  and is essential in order to proceed to the next level course. However, it is advisable to achieve a minimum of 60-65% to attain a good proficiency and a sound understanding of this level.

All trainers for this course are certified instructors with years of experience who undergo rigorous internal training under our Teachers Training Programme. We assign Native trainers from Spanish speaking countries to conduct the higher levels for students to gain more exposure.

The trainers are well versed with the course content, use multimedia tools to deliver the classes, and include a cultural focus during the course to give you an accurate representation of the Spanish speaking world.

The course is intended for students who have cleared the previous level with a minimum of 50% although it is recommended to obtain 65% or more.

For participants who have studied Spanish before (with us or outside) and have a gap of 6 months or more between levels, they must undertake a level-test in order for us to determine if their proficiency is appropriate to join this level.

While starting this course it is recommended that the student be regularly in touch with the language through social media, movies or other form of socialisation to refresh and maintain previously acquired skills.

Our instructors are facilitators for participants to learn new vocabulary and grammar structures and active participation coupled with a proactive attitude is very important.
