Instituto Hispania is a SIELE Examination Centre.

SIELE is the International Service for Spanish Language Assessment, which digitally certifies Spanish language proficiency levels. This examination is aimed at students and professionals who wish to internationally certify their linguistic proficiency in the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1. SIELE certification has international validity of five years.

SIELE is promoted by the Cervantes Institute, the University of Salamanca, the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the University of Buenos Aires. These institutions guarantee high standards for quality and good practices in the creation of the tests and the use of diverse linguistic varieties in the Hispanic world.

Types of SIELE Exam:

  • SIELE GLOBAL - The most complete exam to certify your level of Spanish, it allows you to receive the internationally recognised SIELE Certificate, which provides a score between 0 and 1000. This result is obtained from the total scores of the four tests – Reading and Listening comprehension, Written expression and interaction and Spoken expression and interaction - all linked to the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). 
  • INDEPENDENT MODES - A combination of the various specific tests, this exam allows you to receive an internationally recognized SIELE report card which provides a score between 0 and 500 for S1, S2 and S3 with a total of two tests; and between 0 and 250 for S4 with one test – all linked to levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

 

What are the Fees of SIELE Exam:

  • SIELE GLOBAL = 135 EUR
  • SIELE1: READING COMPREHENSION+ LISTENING COMPREHENSION = 45 EUR
  • SIELE2: READING COMPREHENSION+ WRITTEN EXPRESSION AND INTERACTION = 65 EUR
  • SIELE3: LISTENING COMPREHENSION + ORAL EXPRESSION AND INTERACTION = 75 EUR
  • SIELE4: ORAL EXPRESSION AND INTERACTION = 60 EUR
